What is Freshers' Fair?

The SUBU Freshers’ Fair is a huge exhibition that is free to attend for 18,000 BU students. Included in the fair are lots of local and national businesses together with a collection of live entertainment, sports demonstrations, music, food and drink!

There are 5,000 new first year students to the area each year.

We have welcomed Spotify for three years running, and over the years they have filmed the majority of their Freshers' Fair Tour at our campus... plus we filmed extra footage to hopefully give you a feel for the fantastic atmosphere.

Commercial Stalls – Support our green aims and claim £200* of FREE marketing.

Our greatest partners in this environmental effort are our commercial stall holders, so this year we are offering an incentive to host a green and sustainable promotional stand!

On the day of the Fair our Green Taskforce students will be on hand and will score the sustainability of your stand. If you fulfil all 5 points on the criteria, you will receive up to £200 worth of student marketing, subject to availability and excludes posters. The full list of marketing options can be viewed above and can be claimed up to the end of December 2018. To download the sustainability criteria please click here:
