Senior Rep Election 2018

If you have been a Student Rep before, and want to build on your experience and represent student feedback at a higher level within BU, then nominate yourself to be a Senior Rep.

To be a Senior Rep, you must have been a Student Rep in the previous academic year. There are 2-3 Senior Reps per department, one of those being Postgrad if applicable to the department.

Becoming a Senior Rep

Once elected, your key responsibilities will include being a point of contact for all Student Reps in your Department and coordinating feedback from those Reps. You will also be expected to help SUBU supporting Reps and ensuring they are engaged with the feedback process. You will be expected to attend the Senior Rep Forum to pass on your feedback and where appropriate, work with the Union Officer team to enact on changes as a result of this feedback.

You will receive support and leadership training, and will be expected to chair the Student Experience Forums where appropriate as well as attend Faculty Education and Student Experience Committee (FESEC)
