SUBU is joining with Students' Unions across the nation to raise awareness of Sexual Violence from 5th-11th February 2018. Throughout the week and beyond, there will be a range of events and news to educate students on the issue of sexual abuse and violence, and raise awareness of appropriate behaviours such as consent and bystander intervention. Engage with us on social media using #ItsNotOK and share your experience.

If you have experienced sexual violence or a sexual assault, here are some services and resources that can help you to speak out and find the support you need.

SUBU Safe Walk Group

This group is for anyone who feels unsafe walking home from uni, particularly in the evening when it's dark. We are here as the SUBU Welfare Committee to provide a buddy system so you can find someone or a group of people to walk home with at different times of day. This group is a safe space and posts that are not relevant to its cause will be deleted immediately. This includes posts for upcoming elections and promotional material.’
